Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains the data collected by Tinda for point-of-sale and inventory management, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the application, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

Data We Collect

Account Data

Name, username, email address, phone number, and password. Passwords are stored in an encrypted form that cannot be used to recover the original password.

Business Data

Store or company name and contact information, as well as the information you enter into the application, including products, inventory, invoices, customers, suppliers, and cash transactions.

Device and Usage Data

Device identifier, operating system type, application version, login times, and last synchronization time. We use this information to enforce the number of devices allowed under your subscription and to diagnose technical issues.

How We Use Your Data

  • To operate the application and store and synchronize your data.
  • To manage your subscription and activate the features available under your plan.
  • To send account-related messages, such as email verification codes and subscription expiration notifications.
  • To respond to technical support requests that you submit.
  • To improve application performance and detect errors and misuse.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Offline Operation and Synchronization

Tinda is primarily designed to work offline: your data is first stored on your device and then uploaded to our servers when an internet connection becomes available, allowing it to appear on your other devices. This means that a copy of your business data is stored on the device itself, and you are responsible for securing the device and controlling access to it.

Backups

Backup copies of your business data may be created automatically according to your account settings or manually at your request. These backups are stored on our servers to enable you to restore your data in the event of device loss or data corruption.

Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google to send notifications to your devices. For this purpose, the device's notification token is stored. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except in the following cases:

  • Technical service providers that we rely on to operate the application, such as hosting, email delivery, and notification services, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services.
  • When required by law or in response to an official request from a competent authority.
  • With your explicit consent.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. When you request account deletion, your data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except for information that we are required to retain for legal or accounting purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, request a copy of it, request deletion of your account, and withdraw your consent to data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address provided at the end of this page.

Data Security

Communication between the application and our servers is encrypted, passwords are stored in a non-reversible format, and access to each business's data is restricted to its authorized users. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we recommend using a strong password and never sharing your login credentials.

Children's Privacy

The application is intended for shop owners and businesses and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update will be displayed at the top of the page. Your continued use of the application after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new version.
